 An update from Daddy Forex:

Further to my previous updates I have refined my trading strategy.  I have found a stop loss of around 30 plus pips allows the trade to breath it is tempting to reduce the stop loss under flat conditions but this seems to produce more losing trades.  The strategy I am using seems to be working producing 70% winning trades average.   I have found increased profit by doubling my lot size and making less pips per trade.

The flat market has not been ideal for Rebellion as it is not designed for these conditions.  However by using the indicators with the addition of the Fibonacci Retracement to assist with determining the take profit the using the 1 to 1.5 rule discussed in my earlier update seems to work.

It is easy to get carried away with the flood of notifications recommending trades these need to be treated with a little caution as they can change from long to short with each candle.  The notifications need to be checked out with all the other indicators to give a holistic view of the potential trade.  I have found that three trades at a time is medium risk more that 3 increases the risks drastically.

    Hi Donna.
I have been using Forex rebellion for about 2 months , it is by far the best thing I have used in several years of trying.
I am acheiving a steady 12- 15 % per week however I feel it could be improved.
I trade from the 15min timeframe and wait for confirmation on 30min and 1 hour, .
I am considering getting an addition to the software that will allow a display on my 15min showing the position on the 5m, 30m, and 1H.
Do you think the Rebellion boys would be considering such an upgrade?- if not I will go ahead and order the enhancement.
I rely on support and resistance lines to target an exit and also to ensure that the entry point is not smack on a supp or res. line (as it often can be )and if these lines were added to the package it would be even better.
Metatrader has fractals in the indicators panel and I have found that they provide an excellent visual position for placing stops (the 5min chart seems best for this )
I hope to hear from you.
    Kind Regards Ken Burpitt

    Hello Ken,

I know that Russ Horn who created Forex Rebellion is looking at many things, so why not email him and ask – he gets back very quickly (allowing for time differences).

Would you mind explaining what support and resistance you use as I am new to Forex generally and am using Forex Rebellion but am as savvy as you.

    Thanks,

    Paula

Which timezone you recommend for trading Forex Rebellion? I can see different signals in GMT+1 and GMT+2 brokers.

    Thanks,

I assume Ken means the Donchian channels which are placed on the main chart of Forex Rebellion. I’ve eliminated lots of bad trades by not entering when the price is near the channels and calculated my exit around these as well e.g support and resistance.
