How do you mean by 9 supported pairs. I don't see any evidence on their website that the 9 pairs they say the EA can trade on are profitable in the long run, only that is can trade any pair. Without a visual backtest proof of this, how do you know that the other pairs are profitable in the long run, sounds like more of a guess to me.

Finally managed to get FGM up and running on a real IC Markets True ECN account on all 9 supported pairs at 0.01 fixed lot size initially.

THIS EA WILL NOT WORK ON A WINDOWS 2008 VPS!

After swapping to my Windows 2003 vps I was able to activate the license manager and validate the license.

The original version they sent me specified 9 supported pairs in the user guide. I am assuming the latest version they sent me works on the same 9 pairs.

FGM is running on a $200 real account trading 0.01 lots.
The vendor gave me a copy of FGM and a full license to live forward test and review on an EA review website.

We only conduct live forward tests on small real money accounts.
Should you wish to backtest on the 9 supported currency pairs as per Jeffs' previous post I would be most interested in your results, should you wish to share them.

Meanwhile I will continue making available the live forward test results for those interested.

My point is this, without a backtest for all the pairs besides eurusd then how do we now that the EA is suited on them. What ever forward test revels is worthless., because short term results do not mean to much. If the vendor is supporting all 9 pairs, then they should at least provide us all some visual backtest to at least demonstrate that the pairs they support do make money in the long run, so why do they not do this.

Like i said i have backtest on eurusd for the last 12 years and it is was very profitable with low DD. However since i do not have good long term data for the other pairs they mention, i can not backtest long term. I have done some short term backtest on several of the other pairs they mentioned and it was not good. All lost money.

I am not saying the EA is no good, because it looks very good on the eurusd based on my tests and i would even consider running it on my live account. But for the other pairs i certainly would not, no matter what the forward trades show.

If someone can provide a long term backtest for the other pairs and show it is profitable, then that would be good. If not then i would not run it live on the other pairs besides eurusd for now.

Great to know the EU backtest shows it to be profitable :)

Why not just run a backtest on the other supported pairs?

To be honest i think the EA is pretty good and shows some great promise on the eurusd. However the reason i don't run a backtest on the other supported pairs, because i do not have good quality long term data to do backtests on. Only short term and those tests were not the best.

The platform crashed on me last night. I am worried about the license system effecting it. I have it off now until this is fixed.

was trying the 3 day trial but the horrible license sys made me switch it off, so tacky. Also my vps crashed today, could have been related. Anyway its in the bin now, maybe have another look if they can change to a more professional licensing system.

Wondering if it has something to do with it being a trial licence?

Now that I have the full version running correctly on 2003 it hasn't crashed and isn't putting high demands on resources.

-94 pips?  ???  Something not right there mate.

Have had 8 trades since yesterday and all wins.

Jeff.......you think it might be an Asian scalper? My last trades were in yesterdays Asian session and nothing since.

Weird........I have had no trades since the 8 winners yesterday.

HUD says EA is running correctly on all charts.
I emailed vendor with my settings to trade fixed 0.01 lots and they said my settings were correct.

Running it on ICM and spreads are tight so no problem there.

Just sit back and wait for the next round of trades I guess. :-\
