Gooday;

If BearBull no longer posts on DonnaForex, does anyone know where he does post?  I would like to find out as much as I can about his upcoming PAMM.

Thanks.

You will need to join his Yahoo Group. The link is on the Forex Envy EA thread (posted by Ru).
You will need to own a copy of FE and minimum investment is $1k.
Total invested stands at around $300k.
BB has $30k personally invested.
You'll need to open an account with IC Markets.
Should be ready to go once a relatively bug-free version of FE3 appears ;)

Well, please forgive my ignorance.  I did find the link to BB's Yahoo Group.  However,

"Membership is restricted to licensed Envy purchasers.
You will need to supply your Envy email address for verification."

So, if I have to purchase FE before I can get onto BB's Group to learn about his PAMM, then if I decide to go with another PAMM which does not require me to purchase FE, I am out the money for the FE which I purchased just to get on the Yahoo Group.  Or am I missing/misunderstanding something?

Help please.

Thanks.

I believe you have that correct.

I also know that to join Gertje's PAMM you don't need to own FE. I also don't think you need to with the FE Company PAMMs.

So here's a thought: Since BB's PAMM isn't ready to invest in yet, and since you don't know if you want to buy FE, why not put some money in one of the existing PAMM's by FE or Gertje. After some experience and when BB's PAMM is functioning you will know more about all of this and may want to also join BB's PAMM. But in the meantime you will most likely be making some money with the PAMM you are in.

Cheers,
Rod

Great idea :) I think the minimum to join the Power PAMM is only $500 isn't it?

Yes - so long as the latest update to FE3 is found to have no major bugs that can jeopardise an account, I reckon end of August/start of September :)

I had a PM from Gertje. He is on vacation and will post here as soon as he returns.

And I'm home again... :)

For those isterested, I started the PAMM the 10th of April just for some friends. The investors suddenly came from everyhere, boosting the account so I had to request new setfiles on a weekly basis.

Through watching and intervening with the EA, I learned a lot about it, which helped to save the account 3 weeks ago when a few short-cycles pairs stayed open over the weekend.

Currently there are 97 investors in the Pamm, with a totall balance that hoovers around $50.000,- at the moment. Over $11.000,- of that is my own so I have a big interest in running a smooth operation.

The Pamm runs on FE 2.1 HV, with 'tweaked setfiles'. I added a pip here and there on the TP-side, and use a different BLS to get better ROI.

During my vacation-absence, I swithched of the short-cycle pairs to have some peace of mind, and started the shorts last friday again. I do follow TE's advice for running the shorts from the weekly email.

If people have questions, I'll try to watch here regularly, but also respond to private messages.

Hi Flatour,

Hi Gertje,
Will you upgrade to V3 power?

No, I will not. I like 2.1, and keep trading it on THIS account. I have a POWER-pamm in the making, which will run on 3.0 once it's delivered.

I'm also thinking about firing up a pamm with HV-longcycle only for the less-risk prone investors.

Quote
Will you take Eurica and not standard?

No. The Eurica will deliver less than the standard. For the standard, the spread is within the trade, so 18 pips profit is 18 pips profit. With Eurica, the commission comes out of the profit.

Quote
Are you subscribed to rebates?

Of course.... :)
That's one of the reasons to stick with Instaforex. The rebates are paid directly into the account, and every investor gets his %-share of the rebates [and the interest, and the swap].

Thank you

Thanks Gertje for your helpful responses here.

Glad to know that you will leave the 2.1 PAMM as it is and start others. Please keep us posted here when they are available.

I am personally interested in both the Power and the Longs only. I like the diversification. Will the Longs PAMM be based on 3.0 or 2.1?

Cheers,
Rod

hi gertje,

i am totally new to instaforex and pamm acc. i have some basic questions on gertje pamm:

1. to sign up the pamm, which acc do i open with instaforex; std/eurica or a pamm std/pamm eurica, etc.
2. is there a minimum amt?
3. do i have to wait till mth end like envy's hotforex pamm before i can deposit or w/draw?
4. any suggestion on how to open an instaforex acc with the most optimum rebates?
5. do u have an email which i can contact with further questions?

thank you.

p/s: i believe there are many newbies who also like to know abt this info.
pp/s: i am also signed up to envy's hotforex pamm acc although not a FE licence user. like many i dont know much abt running an ea and dealing with vps, thus veru much interested in trading envy via pamm acc.

Did I read it wrong, or does the PAMM history not show that you withdrew just over 11,000 recently?  Do you still have your own money in this PAMM at this time?

That "Refund" was dated April 1, 2012. I think they show owners activities at the top of the list, but I'm still a little confused in understanding the list. I recently transferred some money from my INstaforex Account to his PAMM. It shows in both the Investment and Refund columns.

In general, how can we know that the PAMM owner is withdrawing his/her capital from the PAMM account?

And most importantly, if the PAMM owner withdraws all or a big lump sum of the capital, is the PAMM account still in good status or should be closed? It is like tracking the insider trading activities of the major shareholders which can give some clear indications on the `health` of that corporation.

Personally, I think once the PAMM owner is start withdrawing the initial trading capital (not profits he made), it defeats the real purpose of PAMM. There is no better indicator than the real money flow.

Just my curiousity and opinion. I am still studying this PAMM model in which different brokers have different ways of doing it.
