A question @StatArb. Will StatArb Pro still be available for ~300$ when reopening the sales? I'm afraid that this will not be the case anymore.
Was just about to purchase it a few minutes ago but... too late (as you know)... :(

Thanks
Chris
same for me, I was going to order it last Sunday evening, when I started my browser and went to the website, big surprise!  :'(

The way I understand statarb's & XOden's response here is that they took it off temporarily to streamline the ordering process & cope with rush of existing buyers and that it will soon be available again for $297 for a limited time.

The higher purchase price ($1997) is for the EA which is 30-45 days away & at that time the $297 offer will be permanently withdrawn.

When will the web page be up and running that lets you change your broker MT4 account assigned to the license?  Support manually changed my broker account yesterday and it was working for a while....but now all my charts are displaying "Invalid MT4 account".

Have just been told by support that there are authentication problems at the moment due to migrating licensing to a new server.

We're not changing the fees a the moment. This isn't one of those "for 24 hours only or 500 copies" marketing ploys. I really just needed a breather and to better support our customers. I'm rewriting the manual to deal with a lot of the questions and troubleshooting issues I've encountered. We're migrating everything to a server with a lot more capacity because the website has become unstable due to the amount of traffic.  We've moved the licensing server to a different box altogether so that connectivity won't be affected no matter how much traffic the site gets. To be honest I thought this would be 10-20 maybe people and we'd get started but as I mentioned before I severely underestimated the response. I'm glad though and we're putting in the measures to support a few thousand traders. Most likely if you've signed up for updates, later this week / weekend you'll get an email where I'll let you know that it's back on. I've just got to increase capacity and limit the chance of human error. I want it to be a seamless experience for the end user and thus far it's not been without some small issues. I want zero issues.

How do I get the info panel on the indicator to show the hand symbol with finger pointing up and down?

The indicator shows "System loaded successfully" and installation went fine otherwise.

TRex

When a trade is signaled it will appear that way e.g., 2 days ago it was under and yesterday it's over, you will see a long / short trade signaled. It won't appear on a bar that's still forming.

I am waiting for a signal on EUR/SEK + USDCAD - so is it our provider that is off? The indicator still hasn't crossed the line back again...

Just a note here. If the algo generate a result today, you should be looking for a signal from today forward. Meaning that if there was a signal 5 days ago, but the algo's result was only delivered today, what happened 5 days ago on the chart is irrelevant.

ovisun, I understand that the signal did not trigger for you too... maybe it trigger only for me, like I said I understand the trigged signals depend of your broker because the close daily bar time is different for the brokers, mine is FXCM and the close daily bar time is 00:00 GMT and in this broker yesteday the indicator crossed the line back again (for a little but crossed), I think that if your broker has a different close bar time the indicator may be a little different and maybe you didn't have the signal...

For this reasson I asked Startarb if he could say us what is the close daily bar time of his broker and if this differences between brokers times can be important?

It will be different from brokerage to brokerage, yes, but that difference should be negligible.

Its yet to be determined, but I think it probably will be for a short period when the sales portion comes back online....

As soon as the DNS servers have been confirmed to have been propagated, it will be accessible to all.Right now however, I cannot run the risk of a modification being done on one server and after the DNS propagation the changes not being reflected on the new server. 24-48 hours is the norm for these changes.

Watching EURSEK-USDCAD pair. The blue has not cross the green towards the median but I see the green/red finger lighted up. Is this a signal? This is a new feature in 1.3 but I am quite sure it did not green/red did not light up yesterday.

If there are no signals on a day (on the website), can you still use the signals from a few days ago, if the entry conditions are valid from that pairs ?

Jan.

From the User Area:

To avoid any confusion about the algos picks: They are good until an entry and subsequently an exit is signaled. After that they are no longer valid until (and if) the algo picks it up again. These relationships come and go. If you trade the same combination a year from now, there is a distinct possibility that the relationship no longer exists. If that were the case, we would have included all 500 combinations we look at in the book. So, keep the charts of the pairs you want to trade open until they get an entry and an exit and then close up shop and look for a new pick.

Just to clarify this, using an example, is this signal still valid? Price is about the same as when lines crossed; some consolidation perhaps before taking off?

I don't have all the exotic pairs so just looking at pairs that I think usually trade opposite. Now, ignoring the earlier crosses at "A" and "B", both of which would be losing trades I think,  it seems to me that going short CAD and long AUD is just sensible trade sometimes anyway, depending on fundamentals and current technical analysis of course.
