jonpearce,Thank you for sharing your data.Could you explain the losing trades on May 24 and May 17 with EURUSD?http://www.myfxbook.com/members/jonpearce/jonpearce1/272518I don't see those trades in Lorenzo's record.http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Lorenzo/numberone-impulsive-scalper/218855Quote from: jonpearce on June 15, 2012, 08:57:02 amI use both NO1 scalper ea and NMI SS in my portfolio.NO1 will take trades when NMI SS doesn't and vice-versa. The additional pairs that NMI SS trades makes for an effective diversified strategy IMHO.Throw in MDP at low risk and you will see it trade when the other two don't and vice-versa.The minor differences in the strategies used by each ea make for an interesting and diversified trading portfolio.Just be aware of major news events like NFP when they can all fire at once and use sensible risk and money management

Unfortunately the 'server jumps' are hard coded into MT4. You can go into tools and options and un-check the auto configuration box while adding the IP or URL of the desired server where prompted...BUT...it may still auto connect if that server falls offline or experiences a packet loss at any point which can happen during normal market conditions.
Everybody with FXPrimus was missing trades yesterday due to failed connection on spikes, while The ProTrader was showing fantastic results with his "feeds". Two different feeds, same broker? Could someone enlighten me on this?Regarding FXPrimus, I am afraid Kevin was right. Let's wait a few more days to see if the failed connection on spikes continues.
Quote from: anjelo on June 16, 2012, 01:49:06 pmHi Spider,Hi anjelo,Thanks you enjoyed the 12 rounds of comparison. I don't have an account with Pepperstone so I can't share a personal experience. However, it is a general experience with the NO users that FX Primus earns more pips followed by Pepperstone and LMAX. Having said that, Pepperstone and LMAX are also profitable. FX Primus feed is smoother and NO can breath on the price movement, and this environment is advantageous for NO even if the execution is not very fast.Based on my personal experience, I would prefer FX Primus for small accounts as the leverage is 1:500 and is suitable for this impulsive scalper. Followed by Pepperstone if you prefer an Australian broker compared to the Republic of Mauritius For large accounts, go to the Institutional Brokers. ILQ in USA or the Primebrokerage Currenex in Germany. Take note you can open USD 1000 and EUR 2,500 respectively for these institutional brokers. This is a custom feed especially for the SteadyonFx / NumberOne clients. If you need more info, you are welcome.regards,Spider-Man
Hi Spider,
Quote from: swordfish on June 19, 2012, 02:51:26 pmJust FYI, these failed connection is not the first time. It happened to me last week and yesterday. And it is the third time for me this month that my account lost connection to their server via CNS NY and UK VPS during spike that favor NO.During those time, other MT4 does not have any connection lost problem with other brokers that I'm using. If this continues these few days, I'm ready to go some where else.
I completed the application for the IB version of NO and submitted whatever SO needed for the IB account opening last weekend. So far I have not heard anything back from SO and I am unsure that US traders were welcome into this program

Unless they have changed it recently.Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2

I feel they could at least have sent me an email saying the application process needs improvement, or at least we do not accept US citizens. But don't just blow it off.
