I use both NO1 scalper ea and NMI SS in my portfolio.

NO1 will take trades when NMI SS doesn't and vice-versa. The additional pairs that NMI SS trades makes for an effective diversified strategy IMHO.

Throw in MDP at low risk and you will see it trade when the other two don't and vice-versa.

The minor differences in the strategies used by each ea make for an interesting and diversified trading portfolio.

Just be aware of major news events like NFP when they can all fire at once and use sensible risk and money management  ;)

Using 5% is huge for both EA's that would mean you could lose around 7% per trade if you count in the spread and commission... Even if your leverage can handle it..

Either way in a perfect world nmi > no1 pip wise since it trades more pairs. But if you take eurusd only then it's a different battle. But how should you judge.. In this perfect world it's also not nmi OR no1.. But nmi AND no1.. Trade both.

stats from Apr 12, 2012

Number 1: +106 pips
http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Lorenzo/numberone-impulsive-scalper/218855

NMi: +399 pips
http://www.myfxbook.com/members/NewMillenniumInc/nmi-super-scalper-v111-ecn/293402

What can I say?

Hi websmith,

This depends how you compare it. Let us compare with the same risk appetite.

NMi

NumberOne (Set up at multi MT4s)

June 2012 Comparison

NMi = +101 pips, USD 110, +14.16%
NumberOne = +141 pips, USD 2,218 profit, +15.24%

regards,
Spider-Man

PS
NMi is very good as well compared to other EAs. However, all live/real accounts from the maker started on April 2012 only.

Putting aside any personal remarks on either side, i appreciate Spider-Man's comments about Number One.

Maybe he's a little too 'enthusiastic' about pushing Number One and telling us how cheap it is, but he backs his comments up with details. Until there are accounts showing on MyFxBook with contrary information, it's difficult to argue with him.

Spider-Man, thanks for the information.

Thank Rico,

Sorry if being "enthusiastic" is offending.
I highlighted the price of the EA because some posters replied that he would just grab a free XMT, and another said the 700 is very high & it's the feeling of most users. (I'm too lazy to paste the link to their statements but it somewhere on pages 18-19. This is the same reason on why I used the words "dirt cheap" for cost of IB license.

I come in peace :)

Spider-Man

I come in peace :)

Here's another live / real account of my friend running NumberOne.
Look at this set up.
29 May 2012 - deposited USD 2589.32.
14 June 2012 - last trade

Pip Profit = +68 pips.
USD Profit = USD 680.56 (+26%)

This seldom happens with an EA, look at the accuracy ;)

[GBPUSD trade is a different EA]

If you know other maker of scalpers fearlessly showing his 4 live/real accounts

Euronis v7000 is showing that.

Anyway, I have both NO and NMi SS and I have to say that, on FXPRIMUS, NO works much much much better (while the situation can be different with other brokers, on my FXPRIMUS account it works like that)
Please read my forex diary at Forexperiments.com ;)

Hi Forexperimenti,

Thank you for pointing that out, though i expect it was NMi or MDP.

Anyway, a quick search in myfxbook for "NumberOne" yielded 11 live/real accounts.

You can be sure that maybe 5% of NMI acccounts are listed in myfxbook.. ;)

Both are very good bots. And both can be used on every pair.

No 1 - what I like:
1. very good results with FxPrimus, Pepperstone and ILQ (when results for NMI with FxPrimus are worse than with other brokers, but with good server and new 1.15 results are near the best brokers - but still worse)
2. good price for IB licence
3. great support and forum
4. some insitutional brokers who allow to trade even 40 lots
5. you can use it with all pairs (user can change settings as he want to)

Problems
only licensing is not the easiest one (only one month to find good brokers, also licence is locked with mt4 number AND vps)

NMI
1. good results with most of brokers (but not good with fxprimus)
2. a little less sensivity - less trades with e/u than NO 1
3. 5 supported pairs
4. very good price for such a kind of bot
5. no problems with changing broker/vps (you can do it yourself into members area).

Problems
not for me but guardian

BTW My NMI has made 164.7 pips since 29 May so not bad I think (SL is around 3 pips like with No1) :)
