I fully understand that the minimum start amount for Power is $18,000. However, if I want to run a demo with say $9,000 with default settings and risk 1, will the EA treat it the same way as it would an $18k account (as that is the minimum), or would it automatically adjust the lot sizes etc for a smaller account.2. Can you switch off the automatic FATPs sent by the server?Minimum start size for FE3 depends on broker, so if you use tradeforte it is a few hundred $ for their flexi cent account If you demo a $9K account on an ECN you will be do so at double recommended risk..https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArZy3Hp-O64JdEE0Si1VeFNnYzlORWhZMGQ0ZXhVN1E#gid=0What would happend if u ran HV-long-only on a 10 000 USD account ? Would that be safer then NV long only?HV @10k is less than 1/3 recommended minimum account size, so you'd be running at 3.6x normal HV risk. Which is probably a lot more risky than running NV mode at its recommended account size. Perhaps Robert can confirm.

HV capital is incorrect. Should be $36k (thanks BB for pointing this out).
I usually reboot my pc and start fresh before the market open. What I have noticed is that 3.0 is not responding to F7 (EA properties) It seems that it has crashed sometimes last week. Restarting the pc and removing/re attach seems to have fixed it.So do check regularly, a non responding FE wont create the next level to close the basket on retrace.

I think the increase profits were due to larger baskets being formed on the Server Friendly TRUE account because it was not closing trades properly. I can run a side by side to test things out.RobertQuote from: petersurrey on July 13, 2012, 04:08:51 pmQuote from: Forex_Envy on July 13, 2012, 04:01:50 pmServer Friendly mode was originally designed for Trading Point users because Trading Point was saying we use too many modify orders. I don't think it is more profitable than running Envy normally, but some may disagree.-RobertQuote from: MarkyT on July 13, 2012, 03:48:02 pmQuote from: Forex_Envy on July 13, 2012, 03:24:35 pmYes,I have just been sent a new version of 3.0. Server Friendly mode is working perfectly, no zero SL bugs and much lower CPU usage Should be released soon.RobertQuote from: MWCore on July 13, 2012, 03:16:35 pmAny updates on the 3.0 release? (for live trading)What is the main advantage of "server friendly" modeMy understanding is that it doesn't set SL/TP on the server and keeps track of them in the EA.But isn't it better to have them on the broker's server... better faster execution in a fast moving market.. and putting the responsibility on the broker rather than my PC?I've recently moved and had the EA off for a few days.. and much to my surprise, many of my open trades closed nicely in TP.. made a bit... but certainly no loss..Robert you may recall you had a server friendly version running alongside the non server friendly, before the last bug, and it's profits were through the roof compared to non server friendly...which in theory, as you say, they shouldn't be..
