Hi, I am setting up for the first time version 3, in demo, as I just received the email

First of all I'd like to thank all members from this member, especially BB that is very present, thank you

I have a few questions

1) As I want to test differents settings (mainly HV and power, long and sometimes short), is it a good idea to set a few demo accounts, not only one?

2) Must demo account figure in "license details" in FE website?

3) When I will go live, can I use another accounts that the old accounts I used with version 2 that are in "member profile"? I just fill in "license manager" with live accounts (actually blank)?

4) Does version 3 automatically calculates lotsize, ect, just seeing automatically what is my balance, broker, leverage?

5) Am I limited to 3 demo?

6) Does this choice seems logical and make sense?
1 demo with HV long only (quite safe)
1 demo with power long only (high profit, less safe)
1 demo with power long and short (high profit, not very safe)?

7) are "unsupported short pairs" in EnvyModes png" temporary unsupported or will them be

Thanks again
Thanks !

Running identical accounts during the same time at the same broker does not provide any additional information over just running one such account, does it?

Please consider joining the test as detailed in my post just above yours.
That way we can ALL compare results.

I didnt see your post as I was writing mine !
Anyway, ok, if you answers my questions  :D
BTW I think as I already will have 3 demos running, I won't have any license slot, no?
Also, your test is great, but it'll be also nice if we use different brokers, leverage, account balance, ect to see potential bugs, no?

What would be the final interest of your test? Just check that we all have about the same equity at the end?

Thanks

BB I'm in... with FxPrimus to compare results and with ICM to check if there will be some differences.

Just to confirm - only change magic numbers (as above) and risk for each one pair (chart) for 0.05 ?

Am I right ?

OK fx Primus is set up (3 mt4 for the same account, one for power, second for hv, and third for both nv and lv).

I will set up ICMarkets tommorow and put both into myfxbook (and in signature as well to compare).

I suggest to keep an eye on the following things:

1) Does the "I forgot" bug still appear?
2) Does the negativ basket protection work automatically now? (Or do we still need to set it manually?)
3) Server problems?

Just some of the important things I could think of. Please feel free to add things to the list.

Robert told me that it is supposed to be working now, but still to be proven.

The ability to set Risk and Mode PER CHART is a Fantastic feature.
Each of the 14 Charts / Modes has a different ROI/Risk profile.
Now we can adjust the individual Chart / Mode Risk.
Like doing Audio equalisation across the band of Charts / Modes.
Obtaining an improved ROI/Risk result for the 14 instrument Envy orchestra.

This will be SO GOOD.
Always wanted to be an Orchestra Conductor.

Time to put in a few new features to my EnvyDeskTop Indicator.
Might have a new Window that looks like an Audio Equaliser Panel.
May display ROI/Risk per Chart plotted against Risk or something like that.

Any suggestions on where to set risk? If default is 1 ,and I bump it up to 2, will it double the risk?

Want to test all the 3.0's valid 46 Mode / Chart Combos to see their ROI/Risk?

Solution:

1) Open an ICM True ECN Demo during the Weekend.
2) Open a $1,000,000 USD Account at Leverage 500.
3) Open 46 Charts for ALL the Supported Modes / Chart Combos with unique Magics for EACH Mode / Chart combo.
     14 for Power (Magics 1 - 14)
     14 for HV (Magics 15 - 28)
       9 for NV (Magics 29 - 37)
       9 for LV (Magics 38 - 46)
4) Set Risk on EACH Chart to 0.05 ($20k Each)
5) Let it rip for 4 weeks.
6) Use MyFxBook to analyse the results as it allows you to choose the Magics for the Analysis.

We need to do this using the same Broker so as to eliminate Broker variation in the results.
Sure there is time variation but it should be small if we ALL start over the weekend.
Who will join the test and share their results?

wont work bb,

wont you run against the 100 max order limitation ?

or maybe the demos are unlimited ?

For those of you, who will be running a 3.0 test with different settings on the same account.

I've released a new version of the basketExposure indicator.
You can now set the magic numbers for the pairs manually. Of course, you can leave everything at default and it will still automatically detect them.

So, if you're planning to go with BearBull's test using 46 charts on the same account, you can open multiple charts with my indy and have each one set for the specific settings (one for Power, one for HV and so on...).

You can find the download in the usual place.

If I have a 3.0 account with 10k€ does it calculate the setfiles for 10k$ or for approx. 12.5k$?
If the first one is the case I'd have to set my risk factor to 1.25 on an € account in order to get the right setfiles?

It calculates 10.000 euro as approx. 12.500 dollar.
Nice feature !
