How do I find my execution times?
To be frank, i am afraid it is a problem with the broker. Sure, FXCM is a well known, regulated and large brokerage firm but defenitely not the right broker for scalping.

FXCM's No Dealing Desk forex execution means our business model is based on trading volume, and therefore we welcome scalpers.Jason

Plaintiff, William H. Sanders, just like thousands of other customers, was lured into transacting business with Defendant, FXCM, buying and selling foreign currencies in what is known as the foreign exchange (“Forex”) market, but little did Sanders, or any of the others, know that FXCM intended to, and did, systematically bilk them out of their account money through an elaborate scheme of fraudulent tricks, devices, and artifices.

I mainly traded news releases, but I wasn’t able to make any profits on the FXCM account because price froze during news releases and many of my pending orders were ignored. In 2010, I opened another account which I used for short-term trading. The first couple of weeks everything was ok but after that I had to deal with an unusual high number of re-quotes, off quotes and slippage and execution time increased dramatically. However, I also have to say that FXCM have a lot of potential. Own ECN, bombastic volume, probably own matching machine ?, access to liquidity venue's other brokers can only dream of, etc.… Unfortunately the trading conditions FXCM offers are suboptimal and unsuitable for short-term trading and scalping.Regards,Alexander
