Has anyone bought these robots? (SmartFXTechnology)
blackpele:
You are right, even though at the MT4 live statements I saw 100 to 300 pips stop loss at the scapler robot, they told that this is not true ???
robert_Smart_Fx_Technolog:
Ok, let me explain how it works:
The Robot opens 2 or 3 orders that make up the whole position. They may be opened simultaneously or a few pips apart depending on the price action.
The Stop Loss that counts is the one for the first entry. The other positions close automatically when the first one closes.
We put there a high number in the SL of the second or third order, so they do not get in the way. The one that counts is the SL of the first order. If you check the closing of the positions in the Live Tests, they all close together with the first order, at SL 12 pips or higher, depending on the pair.
Hope this clarifies the SL issue.
Robert

Yup, 25% is pretty much useless. If there was a forward test, I might be inclined to give it a try. There is nothing, and back test on website doesn't even show the trades info.

there is forward testing, however something dont add up here. the vendor was telling me the PT 12-25 SL something 35 for breakout its 108 PT SL is 108. the forward results either mix of both EA or am i missingsomething.hopefully vendor can tell us better. :D

Yes, I just reread the post. :)
No forward testing on the website.
I took a look at them both, so far I have a mixed opinion :)
Trader@Home:
The vendor claims their independent verification with FPA in backlog.Hopefully FPa publishes this very soon :D
robert_Smart_Fx_Technolog:
The SL for the Scalper is 12 to 35 depending on the pair, and for the Trending Robot (Breakout Hunter) is 108.
The idea is to be outside the normal channel for the trading times so we don't get caught by our own SL all the time.
